Choosing a healthy lifestyle can bring positive results in just a few days. Eating right and exercising can be difficult to juggle along with the rest of our everyday life. As a minimum that amount of fluids need to be replaced daily.

No. 1: Surround yourself with positive supportive people. Your environment rubs off on you, influences you, and shapes you - they key to your environment is the people who are in your life. Search out and find people that are optimistic in life and who will support you 100%. There is no need to stay or keep relationships that burden or stress you, find people that are healthy and happy and view the world with optimism - they will help keep you, your mind and your body from falling into stress pits.





Sleep is a great way to stay healthy. A lack of sleep will negatively affect your health in many ways. The University of Chicago heart research team reported that lack of sleep causes heart disease.

Throw away all the junk food in your pantry. Yes, this may sound a bit outrageous at first. However, let's face it, the more you see junk food in your house the more likely it is that you consume them. Start today. Clean your pantry or fridge by tossing all chips, canned goods, instant noodles, cookies etc into the trash. Now stock your kitchen with fruits and vegetables. The next time you feel hungry, you can now start training yourself to eat fruits and veggies.

It's funny, our grandparents never gave much thought to healthy living. They just did it for the most part. They got up, lived their lives, raised families, formed enduring friendships and went on with the world. They died and a lot of people attended their funerals because they made a difference.

The modern day staples of our diet make up almost every meal that we eat. Sandwiches for lunch and pasta dishes for dinner. What people do not mentions is that wheat (Bread, Pasta and many other foods) is perhaps the most common food sensitivity today. This means every time you are eating your bread or pasta (including whole grain, organic etc) your body is fighting the very food you are think is healthy. The result of this is usually bloating and fat gain. Though the properties of bread and pasta make it more likely to be a food sensitivity than other foods it is more to do with the complete domination these foods have within our diet. Very often people go for years without having a day without eating these products. The human body does not react well to eating the same foods day in day out.

Healthy living involves a lot of daily tasks that are not always the most pleasant way to spend your day. If you want good health you have to make wise choices. Talk to your doctor and plan together a lifestyle you can live with.
